Design Proposal Reviews

A biomass to energy plant design or design proposal can be reviewed by Stewart Thermal Ltd using our extensive technical design and biomass power plant O+M experience.

We will examine every facet of a design on behalf of our client taking cognissance of the required inputs and outputs.

We use 'Thermoflow' fully flexible, comprehensive software to model projects thermodynamically and thereby determine heat and mass balances. We also use computerised fluid dynamic software to model heat flux, gas and particle flows to ensure proposed designs are fit for purpose.

In addition STL has extensive experience in biomass fuel reception, handling, storage, metering and delivery systems preparation, which are essential to the efficient combustion or co-combustion of biomass.

Our capability extends to other power plant system reviews including ash handling, water treatment, emissions abatement, steam and water systems, we also have district heating systems design experience.
