Gasification

Stewart Thermal Ltd has teamed up with gasification technology providers and is using its extensive biomass treatment experience to deliver a gasification solution for the treatment of poultry litter and clean waste wood.

Our solution produces between 600KW and 2.0MW of electricity with additional heat supplied where required. The plant is EU WID compliant and uses reciprocating engine/generator set technology to produce electricity.

Test gasification has successfully taken place on a fully operational facility and it is now planned to install a 2.0MW_e  gross output commercial plant late 2009 in the UK.
