DECC launches consultation on its proposals for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) a ground breaking initiative designed to significantly increase the level of renewable heat generation. The RHI will pay a fixed amount per year to those who install renewable heat equipment such as biomass fired boilers.

The scheme commences in April 2011 and will last for 15 years. The maximum tariff will be received by those who install equipment in the first years.

The payments are designed to give a 12% rate of return on investment so there is no better time to consider the switch. STL offer a range of services aimed at commercial, industrial and agricultural premises.

If you also require electricity then you could additionally benefit from the Feed in Tariff scheme.
