Rotary Kiln System

Stewart Thermal Ltd acting on behalf of its consortium technology provider IRE of Australia is involved in the supply of a complete CHP solution for the thermal treatment of biomass.

The solution involves the use of rotary kiln technology to produce a hot gas for use in a suitably designed Heat Recovery System Generator.

The flexibility of the kiln allows the use of a range of biomass materials including the more problematic. Additionally the solution is very cost effective.

The consortium includes EPC solution provider MW Zander and leading T/A manufacturers Peter Brotherhood. Whilst the state of the art kiln technology is provided by Ansac Kilns.

Fully functional test combustion facilities are available to trial any proposed fuel types be it in a direct or indirect fired kiln.
